One Litre of Tears
It is chosen that she is the one To go on a journey where none can join. From now, there is nothing more that can be done But to watch her life turn like a flip of a coin. She remains in bed and dreams wistfully Of freedom. To relive the past as it slowly disappears, Only to awake facing the reality. She painfully Cries out from her heart one litre of tears. Despite losing the chance that was given by love, She picks herself up from her fall; standing strong. Questioning "Why me?" to the heavens above Yet none could respond to exactly what went wrong. Pressing on with much effort to help and care For family, friends and those dear to her heart. By being a blessing with her story to share And in giving hope to many is a way she wants to start. At the end of it all, she is simply amazing. Like flowers blooming in full glory together With a written voice echoing, She lives on forever. |
