Yesterday, my parents were looking at all the photos that we kept at home. Dad: We can always keep these photos for your future wedding montage. Me: I don't intend to marry. Dad: What? Now you say so, next time it'll be otherwise. Me: Yea yea. Dad: You want to get scolding from ah ma is it? Me: Huh? Ah ma scold me for what? Dad: You want to join Gu Gu (aunt) and Ruth (cousin) and stay single is it? You three can form a singles club. Gu Gu can be the president. Me: *thinking: WHAT THE HELL.* Dad: Maybe you can ask Grace (cousin) if she wants to join as well. Then all four can start a club together. Me: Yea yea. (no longer paying attention) Shopping with my parents at Metro Sales. Mum looking at socks and across her there is a pile of $1 briefs. Dad: Wah, got $1 underwear. Mum: Dear ah, Ben need socks for school right? His socks are at his ankles. Dad: Huh? Aiya, anything la. (picks up a piece of $1 briefs.) Mum: Don't know whether to buy leh.
