ever heard of sophie kinsella's series of shopaholic?
guess what I'm turning into a BOOKAHOLIC. during this holiday i've so far spent at least $110 of my savings on novels. I've yet to buy a set of jodi picoult's books. her books are really expensive in terms of thickness of book and for just cheap paper. so yes, think i'm gonna get some of her books next week. and remember I said I ought to ban myself from romance novels. I ended up buying more of them. the books I've bought this holiday (so far): -twilight by stephanie meyers -new moon by stephanie meyers -eclipse by stephanie meyers -the pact by jodi picoult -shopaholic and baby by sophie kinsella -little black dress: true confessions by rachel gibbson -little black dress: the chalet by kate lace -little black dress: this is how it happened by jo barrett -p.s i love you by cecelia ahern -where rainbows end by cecelia ahern these books have been published months and a year ago, and i'm only buying them now. at least 8 out of 10 of the books have romance in them. minority of them are hardcore romance though. the rest are all just for humour or those sweet cliche, happily-ever-after kind of love. shopaholic is quite good for its humor. Rebecca Bloomwood is like your average never excelled in math kind of girl who focuses on nothing but clothes, clothes, clothes and not the actual necessities, plus, she takes most things literary for its terms which always ends her up in some sort of dramatic trouble. Anyway, I've yet to get sophie kinsella's: sophie kinsella's: remember me? I've managed to get the rest of the shopaholic series a long, long, long time ago. so yea. SEE WHAT I MEAN WHEN I SAY THAT I'M BECOMING A BOOKAHOLIC. cant wait to pull out another $50-$60 for jodi picoult next weekend. please do note that i'm insane enough to use so much KA-CHING from my savings. but once school reopens I kiss book spree goodbye. (: (sounds much like I kiss dating goodbye by joshua harris) if you didn't get the "humour", then nevermind. |
